A journey in listening and following a path of what is meant to be ….

With 10 years of personal party planning experience and photography: corporate functions, Christmas, Retirement, Stag N’ Doe, Birthdays, 65th Celebrations and my own wedding with a 255 guest list I decided to “JUMP” and bless others with my talents and experience.  We should all experience the fun of hosting an event, then give ourselves permission to enjoy it as our guests do.  

Following a desire and dream, to own my own company, I went to the Elgin Business Resource Centre to update my resume, gain some information and the connections has led me on quite a journey.   One that has directed me full circle back to a path in my life that I diverted going down about 5 years ago.  But, again reminded that we are often on a journey that we need to listen, and enjoy rather than try to control and lead all the time.

Following that appointment the Elgin Business Resource Centre provided me an opportunity to obtain a grant through the OSEB program that has allowed me to develop a dream of owning my own company into a reality.  It was not easy but the support is a great exchange. 

As a way to give back to our community and The Kidney Foundation of Canada  and local Dialysis and Transplant Patients. We organize an event fundraiser yearly, in the last 5 years we have raised over $25,000  all while supporting local businesses in our community. When you receive a "Save the Date" card for an event hosted by Candice, you will save the date. We have attended several events in St Thomas which have been hosted by Candice. Wedding, birthdays, family Christmas--all have been a great time for everyone. Decorations, food, and activity. I even loved attending a two year old's birthday party!! And Candice had the energy and smile which gets the job done and makes all that work look fun and easy.
Your wedding was a most enjoyable event! Your creativity was evident in the very finest details. How delightful it was to have every moment planned with care and attentiveness to guests. It was a memorable occasion for those of all ages. Ben particularly recalls the colour coordinated, beautifully displayed candy bar. The entire wedding was a feast for the eyes as well as a lot of fun!
I like to entertain and so I know the work of having guests over - you can never fully relax because you are constantly in the back of your mind thinking, is everyone ok, is everyone having a good time, got someone to talk to, got a drink, comfortable..... well at Christmas time I attended an event organized by Candice. Every detail was thought of. I had such a good time largely in part to her organization. She had extra special touches and creativity on details that added meaning to the evening. I would highly recommend her helping you plan your next dinner party or event or social gathering... she can do it all and YOU can enjoy your folks. Her service is worth it!
